The
Psycogical and Sociological Researching Center (CIPS) was
created on October 10 th, 1983, and it belongs to the researching
institutions of the Ministery of Science, Technology and
Environment of Cuba. It functions also like sponsor of the
Academy of Science of Cuba. In almost two decades of hard
work, the CIPS has received more than 30 recognition in
the main given by the Academy of Science, because of its
scientific achievements and the social impact of their results.
Functions
of the Institution:
The CIPS makes diagnostics, evaluations, prospecting,
technologies, proposals and interventions for the change,
with the purpose of developing the social relations and
the human subjectivity.
Profile
of the Institution:
Its profile is mainly psychological
and sociological, based on the interdisciplinary researches,
mixing macro and micro-social methodological perspectives
and also quantitative, qualitative, practical and theoretical
ones.The institution is regarded as part of the Cuba,
Latin-American and International Academic Community, and
it works for strengthening its relations with another
similar centers, with the purpose of being recognized
as a national and international reference center.Kinds
